The start of a busy day.
Taking a break and drinking coffee is an important time to prepare your mind for a hectic day. When I first held this mug in my hands, I felt the calm space I was looking for.
As the name suggests, it has a rounded shape. The soft edge that touches your mouth and the handle feels comfortable in your fingers. It is lighter than it looks, and you can feel the warmth that is unique to the clay material.
A beautiful moment of blending
The bottom of this mug has a slightly three-dimensional "roundness." This curve creates a gentle "convection" of the liquid. When you pour milk into the coffee, the two mix gently, creating a natural swirl, creating the perfect cafe au lait, without the need for a muddler. We too were captivated by the moment. The white milk spreads quietly, and soon melts into one. The sight is as if even time is slowly melting away.
The three legs, like a camera tripod, make it comfortable and stable, enhancing the relaxing atmosphere.
"Just the right size"
The 310 ml capacity is actually perfect. It's perfect for savoring a cup of coffee or serving hot soup. Our editorial team enjoys using it for more than just a mug, brewing herbal tea for afternoon tea time, or serving oatmeal or yogurt. It's also microwave and dishwasher safe, so you can use it every day with peace of mind.
Bringing pleasant "effectiveness" into your daily life
This mug was created by kikime, a company based in Mino, a region famous for its ceramics. The design team at ALOT OF combined techniques from multiple production areas to create this design, with the aim of making everyday items that are effective and enriching people's lives.
The curves are not too perfect, and the presence is not too assertive. Yet every time you pick it up, a gentle sense of comfort spreads. The Marumi mug is a vessel that quietly teaches us about this "beauty for everyday life."

有名ブランドのノベルティやパッケージを数多く手がけ、株式会社Francfrancに転職。国内と海外の商品開発や雑貨全てを統括するポジションを経験後、アロットオブを創業。

1つのブランドコンセプトを元に、産地と産地を掛け合わせた商品開発をすること。複数技術を組み合わせたモノづくりによって、日本の良さや技術を、世界へ広げて行きたいと考えている。

共に働く人の心も大切にしたモノづくり。業界全体をどうしていくのかという視座を持ちつつ、自分たちが楽しいと思えるか、一緒に働く仲間の心を豊かにできているかどうかも大切にしている。
ストーリー紹介
