The color of Irabucha is directly in the container

Irabucha is a popular fish in Okinawa. The color varies from individual to individual, with some being deep blue and others being strong green, and its vividness is the very image of the Okinawan sea.

This series was born from the idea of somehow expressing the vibrant colors of Irabucha in glass. The deep blue and green gradations show different expressions every time sake is poured into them, and every time the light catches them, they blend naturally into the space while still emanating a small presence.

Colors are created through years of experience with glass

The experience of producing countless types of colored glass combined with the artisans' eyes and intuition creates a unique gradation that blurs the boundary between blue and green.

When light shines through, the transparency becomes even more pronounced, and the layers of color sparkle and appear - this exceptionally beautiful appearance is a testament to the skill of this workshop.
