This teacup's distinctive feature is its truncated cone shape, which gradually tapers towards the rim, naturally bringing your nose and mouth closer together, allowing you to more fully experience the aroma of tea or coffee as you drink.

It also feels stable and easy to hold in the hand, and I felt that the design recreated the beauty of traditional tools in a modern way.

 

Glossy and quiet texture

 

These teacups are made of porcelain and come in a variety of colors, including light ink, white glaze, and black glaze, all of which have a calm texture.

 

 

The surface is smooth and pleasant to the touch, and when you pour a drink into it, the gloss of the glaze catches the light and gently shimmers. It has a dignity that brings a touch of luxury to everyday use.

 

The spirit of Mino ware that has spun for 150 years

 

Shinzangama Yamatsu is a traditional workshop established over 150 years ago in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, the heart of Mino ware. Each teacup is carefully fired with the belief that "pottery is a wonderful supporting role, but also plays an important role in supporting our lives," adding a gentle touch to our daily lives. The artisan's handiwork and deep history are evident in the expression of each piece of this vessel.
